Every year Eurotech sends a selection of staff members to the Institute of Circuit Technology’s Foundation course in PCB design and manufacturing, something which is very much seen as a rite of passage for upcoming PCB engineers, operators and technical staff.
The 4-day course which is run in conjunction with Chester University covers all aspects of PCB manufacturing including DFM, Engineering, Manufacturing processes, Quality control, Assembly and much more besides.
This year’s candidates were Pete Gerthofer, Ryan Kyle, Emily Weston from our Exmouth Factory and Jason Parsons, Alison Wright and Mailie Dance from our Poole factory, Eurotech Special Products.
As well as classroom study the course also gives participants the opportunity to visit a PCB factory and enables people to gain a wider understanding of the complete PCB manufacturing process.
