Flex Solutions for your business
Single and double-sided flex
This is generally the lowest cost option available and replaces conventional point to point connections.
Single and double sided flexible pcbs are suitable for dynamic applications (non-plated sections).
Multi-Layer Flex
Is a full flex pcb for more complex designs (up to 12 layers).
Flex-Rigid
A pcb with a combination of flexible and rigid materials (up to 12 layers).
Sculptured Flex Circuits
Is similar to flexible circuits, but this is generally restricted to a single conductor layer.
A sculptured flexible pcb is made using thick copper 0.254mm (7.25oz, 0.010N) and can accommodate irregular shaped component leads as all holes are etched features.
They can be formed into a variety of bespoke shapes, but are slightly less flexible, therefore not suitable for use in dynamic applications.
Surface Mount Interconnects (SMI)
SMI's are designed to provide low cost interconnections from rigid to rigid pcbs.
We have two standard conductor pitches available – 0.93mm and 0.50mm.
These can be supplied in a tape and reel format.
