The EuroTech Group plc are proud to announce a local connection with the Exmouth National Coastwatch Institution (NCI).
Exmouth NCI was founded in 1998 and is run by trained watchkeeping volunteers whose mission is to protect the safety of life by observation along the beaches and shoreline of the west end of Lyme Bay including the beaches of Exmouth, Dawlish Warren and the mouth of the Exe Estuary. Watchkeepers are on duty every day of the year liaising directly with Her Majesty’s Coast Guard. Exmouth NCI is the fourth busiest of 56 stations for incidents. Watchkeeping duties include assisting mariners with VHF radio checks and the provision of current weather information regularly on every watch.
