Update on delays in Asian Sea Shipments to Europe

As you will have seen in the news, attacks by Houthi Rebels from the Yemen have led to many shipping lines re-routing Asian shipments destined for Europe via the Suez Canal by the much longer Cape of Good Hope route.

Given the fluidity of the situation, we are actively assessing the potential impact on our Asian sea shipments. The alternative route around Southern Africa will result in an additional estimated delay of around 10 days to our usual shipment times.

We understand the importance of timely deliveries, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Rest assured, we are diligently working to gather more information and clarity on the situation.

We recommend that customers who wish to continue to take advantage of sea shipments allow an additional 2 weeks until the situation is resolved. Alternatively, of course product can be shipped by air although there are inevitably cost implications to this option for larger batches of product.

Should you have any immediate concerns or require further clarification, please feel free to contact our team. Your understanding and patience during this period are greatly appreciated.
