New Developments and Extended Service Offerings from The EuroTech Group

The EuroTech Group plc (www.eurotech-group.co.uk), one of the leading UK manufacturers of PCBs, will again be exhibiting at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2013 (13th – 14th February – www.industrysouth.co.uk) and will be using the opportunity to introduce a number of exciting developments within the Group.

They are announcing a further enhancement to their offshore service offering – for over 12 months they have been working with an additional quality Chinese fabricator to verify their abilities and ensure that their performance and quality levels meet EuroTech’s exacting standards. Following a successful trial period EuroTech are now confident enough about this company’s quality, delivery and price performance to add them to their service range. This enables EuroTech to offer their customers additional capabilities and technologies such as HDI including Laser Direct Imaging (LDI) and Laser Drilling.

EuroTech has very close partnerships with all of their Asian PCB manufacturers, enabling them to offer the cost benefits of manufacturing in Asia backed up by their own UK based superior service and support. In effect our offshore facilities act as an extension to our own UK capabilities. Tony Cornish, International Business Development Director commented “All our customers’ dealings are with the EuroTech office in the UK which removes many of the traditional problems with offshore sourcing such as language and time difference barriers. Our offshore manufacturing service includes UK engineering and a full UK audit of the finished products including 100% quality inspections and electrical testing (BBT).”

Sharing EuroTech’s stand at Southern Manufacturing will be sister company TWM Technology (www.twmtech.co.uk), who specialise in the design and manufacture of precision metal parts and fully hermetic packages for the microelectronics industry.

TWM has recently signed up to the Supply Chain for the 21st Century (SC21) programme. This programme, which is administered by ADS, is designed to increase the performance of suppliers to the UK aerospace, security, space and defence industries and will enable TWM to increase their competiveness and so deliver increased value to their customers.

TWM also continues to invest to expand their service offering and have recently installed one of the latest Bridgeport Milling Machines, specifically to increase their capacity for the production of prototypes, small batches and quick turnarounds. Used in conjunction with their in-house plating and solder assembly capabilities, this investment greatly expands our fast turnaround capacity for machined and plated parts.
